Beschreibung
A correction is worth taking only if the reticle you read it from can be trusted. Sitting in the first focal plane, the RMG 3 grid inside the Trace X 5-25x56mm holds its stated values at every magnification, backed by 34 MRAD of elevation travel.
Illumination brings the MIL grid up when the target sits in shadow or against dark ground. Because it is a grid rather than a simple crosshair, a wind correction can be read across the horizontal as readily as a drop is read down the vertical.
Precision shooting has enough variables in it already. The 5-25x56 is built so it is not one of them, holding its zero and its stated subtensions across a match, a season, and the distances that follow.
